TDLR State mandated 32 hours of classroom instruction. Topics include, but not limited to: the dangers of distracted driving, an entire week of the dangers of drugs and alcohol, written Permit Exam on the 3rd class day, 7 drive sessions with an experienced instructor, individual help throughout the entire process if needed & detailed Parallel Parking instructions! This is a 3 week course, Monday-Friday from 5-7pm.
Once all training hours are completed, parents will need to schedule an appointment at DPS to present documents & apply for permit.
This class will only make if a minimum of 15-20 students register. Parents will be refunded if there is not enough students registered.
